Welcome to the Discgolfbuddy.ca website, a great new way for Disc Golf Clubs to quickly sort and keep track of Club Tag Standings and furthermore help sponsor disc golf clubs around the world.
With the hard efforts of my partner, Nick Huber ( Awesome phone app / database partner), myself, website designer, Lada Rezek, we have created a phone application, devices (compatible on both iPhone and Android) that works in conjunction with the Discgolfbuddy.ca website to give you the ability to sort tags with the app, based on scores, and then post those tags online with the current owners of each tag.
Most of you know me as, Lada, the average disc golf player with a bad back. After having to drop out of another disc golf tournament due to my back, I decided to take time off and heal. As I started my road to healing, I decided to use my time and talents to help Disc Golf grow, and more-so to help my Club Manager and Representatives during Club rounds. How you may ask?
Well, after the Club completed a round of play and scores were gathered, we sat and waited, sometimes 30 or more minutes, just to find out which tag we all received based on our days score. On cold rainy days, it just made things worse. Low and behold, the creation of the Disc Golf Buddy Phone app. An app which would do all the work for you.
With the great talents of Nick Huber, the Tag sorter app was created.
But why stop there, I said to myself, and low and behold, I designed the Discgolfbuddy.ca website. Now in conjuction with the phone app, Clubs Tags could now be posted online for viewing. Club members or the general public can view Club Standings and the owners of those tags.
